Belle Bourgogne Part 7: Le Jardin
Continuing on from Part 1 of this series, we are going to take a visual stroll through the garden of the Domaine Chandon de Briailles, which we had free access to visit and enjoy during our week.
Our little courtyard garden was sweet but stepping through the gateway into the domaine’s more structured and park-sized garden, gave us a whole different experience.
I loved the rustic wall separating our accommodation courtyard from the big garden.
This extensive outside space was a perfect backdrop for photographs and paintings, as well as a beautiful place to stroll in the morning or evening.
This area of the garden had some fruit trees and was a perfect place to sit and draw
Venez me rejoindre pour une promenade dans le jardin. Join me for a stroll through the garden.
The terrace wall gave a little separation of the property and made an interesting division
The folly. A little dilapidated but a fanciful feature.
C’est moi taking time to smell the roses
and exploring the box hedged garden
Grand merci to my husband and photographer, Chris for the beautiful photos.
This post concludes our week in Savigny-lés-Beaune. It was amazing and we hope to return soon. Au revoir Bourgogne.
I hope that you will join me next time as we discover another destination in France. I invite you to sign up below to be added to my mailing list so that you never miss a post.
